USTA Training Information

The Annual Officials Training for the CSRA is scheduled for February 21 and February 22, 2009:  There will not be a second training session in Augusta this year.

 

 

 

The USTA training classes will be held at the Courtyard by Marriott,

at 1045 Stevens Creek Road, Augusta, Georgia. 

 

Report time will be 8:30am.  We will have paperwork to take care of, information to pass out, and introductions to complete.   Training will begin at 9:00am, and anyone not present at the start time must attend a later scheduled class.

Anyone interested in attending umpire training for the remainder of the year should contact our Georgia Umpire Coordinator, Michaela Moon. 

 

All attending officials must download the pre-tests and answer sheets and bring them to the class, completed.  The tests will be scored and returned.

Be sure to download the proper exam, USTA Umpire Test 80 questions, Referee Test 60 questions, and ITA Test 50 Questions.

 

The Saturday training will begin at 9:00am for officials certified for 3+ years.  The Referee training will follow at 1:00pm, and the ITA training at 3:30pm.  Sunday training is for officials certified for 0 – 3 years, including Provisional officials.  The Sunday training will also start at 8:00am and will continue after a lunch break.


Training for Georgia classes require sign-up on line with fees paid through Paypal.  Refunds for non-attendance will not be made.  A late fee will be required if sign-up is less than 7 days prior to the training. 
Umpire - $15 :: Referee - $10 :: ITA - $10

The Rule book, Friend at Court, will be provided at the training for Provisional Officials.
